IWB DELEGATION OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE STATE OF QATAR ON 8-10 DECEMBER , 2024

The IWB high delegation Chaired by His Excellency Mr. Amro Mousa the Chairman of the IWB International Honorary Board & Former Secretary General of the Arab League accompanied by the Founder & Chairman of IWB Mr. Rashad Al Shawa and His Excellency Dr. Shaddad Attili IWB Board Member & Secretary General and His Excellency Mr. Walid Kanoo Member of the IWB International Honorary Board and Mr. Abdullah Al Mayouf a major founding shareholder in IWB and Mr. Wael El Zein Chairman of Lucid Investment Bank & Primis Investment Switzerland the international financial advisors for IWB visited the Kingdom of Bahrain for the meeting with His Excellency Shiekh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa the Minister of Finance following the earlier discussions held via zoom with His Excellency and His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank in Bahrain for the first time since the initiative of IWB started, representing the big interest of the Kingdom to host IWB to be incorporated in the Bahrain. His Excellency the Minister of Finance strongly welcomed the idea and fully granted his support for IWB to be domiciled in the Kingdom.
The IWB high delegation then visited the Headquarters of the Central Bank of Bahrain were they were received by His Excellency the Governor Mr. Khalid Hamaidan and the Senior Executive Management of the Central Bank were full discussion and presentation of IWB were demonstrated to His Excellency and his esteemed team. His Excellency welcomed the idea of incorporating the bank in Bahrain being the first financial center in the Middle East and the next steps for completing the Central Bank requirements for the incorporation will be handled and finalized between the IWB team and financial advisors and the executive management of the Central Bank in January 2025 . The visit was fully organized by His Excellency Mr. Walid Kanoo the Member of the IWB International Honorary Board whom demonstrated exceptional efforts and demonstration of the role of the IWB Honorary Board Member in supporting the bank. His Excellency Mr. Kanoo hosted the IWB high delegation for dinner at his private residence and he will follow up and coordinate between the two parties.
